I am Juan Miguel Salas Rodríguez (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba 1978) and have my base of operations in Berlin, Germany since 2007. I graduated from the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Havana, Cuba in the specialty of Cinema and TV Editing.
My curiosity is my strenght and my added value. I have ventured into different types of artistic manifestations, always related to the visual arts and video (and also a bit of science) because I like to know how things are done. When I work on a project, I always try to cross all these multifaceted experiences I have to create a product that is never only one thing but always more ideas coming together.
Living in Berlin has given me the opportunity to work with international teams with which have completed many successful projects, always contributing with creative ideas and my experience in different fields.
Currently I am working as a freelance editor and graphic animator, especially in projects for advertising on social networks and for German TV channels. Projects from Siemens, Activision, ProSieben, BVG, Hornbach, WeWork among others.
